1-3/4" Diameter Rubber Ball Bumpers Screw on to end of 1" Round Bar
Product Description
1-3/4" Diameter Rubber Ball Bumpers Screw on to end of 1" Round BarInstalling this bumper requires a Metric M10-1.5 hole to be machined into the end of the 1" bar at least 3/4" deep. Then ball bumper is simply screwed on by hand until tight. The ball bumper body has a 1" I.D x 1/2" deep counterbore so the 1" bar is saddled into the bumper thus, providing support to make it very secure against breaking the threaded stud and knocking it off.
These are typically used on the ends of cable attachments (Lat bars, curl bars, Tricep press down bars, etc...) to help protect floors and other objects in the event the bars are dropped. There are many other possible uses where a resilient rubberized end on a bar is ideal.
