2" x 2" PVC External End Caps (Foot Stops) - 30 degree Offset End

Made of flexible PVC, combined with a non-slip texture, it it recommended a hammer or rubber mallet be used to install these over the ends of 2" square tubing. While one end of this external cap has a 30 degree offset angle it is not required nor advised to cut a matching angle on the tube ends. It is recommended that a straight (90 degree) cut be inserted into cap and the ends will evenly bottom out approximately 1-5/16" deep into the cap itself. Bear in mind that installing these foot stop caps will add an approximately 1-11/16" extension to the end of the 2" square tube. For Example: If you need a base member to have an overall length of 20" with these caps installed at both ends, then your base member should be cut 16-5/8" long prior to cap installation.

A tube with a 90 degree cut will install 1-5/16" deep into cap

A tube with an angle cut on the end will NOT install any deeper into cap vs. a standard 90 degree square cut

Offset Caps will give framework a polished modern stance with with a super heavy duty flavor to the appearance

The 30 degree offset outer face gradually transitions to the floor surface thus, lessening the chance of tripping passers by

This is similar to the 50 degree cap we offer but shorter in overall length and not as steep of an angle
