Brass Pop Pins - Dual Action Lobed Knob - Twist & Lock Mechanism

Brass Pop Pins - Dual Action Lobed Knob - Twist & Lock Mechanism. These function similar to our T-handle twist & Lock Pop pins. The knob has a dual operational function: Pull to release pop pin from engagement hole, release spring loaded knob to allow pin tip to re-engage telescopic inner slider tube. Twist knob clockwise/counter clockwise to tighten/loosen respectively. By tightening the center pin flange against the inner telescopic slider tube, it will prevent it from moving around and give a "tight" feel to your adjustment application. Great for adjustable seats and other pads on exercise equipment.

Features:

Pop Pin body is made of brass - can be left unfinished or finished in powder coating/paint

Brass Pop pin body has flats machined for using an open-ended wrench to tighten during final assembly into welded-on bulk head

Pop Pin engagement tip is .334" in diameter (between 5/16" and 3/8") x .300" long

Knob is perma-bonded to pop pin center pin and has a lobed outer periphery to provide a non-slip grip for finger tightening

Knob cannot be removed, nor can pop pin be taken apart internally. However, internal parts are plated for protection

Face of lobed knob has an instructional decal applied (see inset picture in photo)

Each pop pin ships with a weld-on bulk head with M20-1.5 metric female thread. You may elect to machine your own custom bulk head solution as long is it has a matching female thread

Weld-on bulk head has a shoulder that is .996" in diameter so it slip fits nicely into 1" hole machined into the outer telescopic tube - this simplifies locating the center prior to welding it in place
